Spartacus HE I. team won this year's Team Championship
Last weekend, the VASI VIZEKEN GARBOLINO–TACKLEBAIT County Individual and Team Championship was held on the shores of Lake Abért II, where a tense, exciting and full of twists and turns competition took place over two days. Eight teams, a total of 32 competitors, compared their skills, endurance and tactics. The weather showed its summery face, and the diverse fish population of the lake put the field to a serious test. Close combat and a thrilling team competition
The results of Saturday's round were extremely close: there was only a 1-1 point difference between the first four teams. Körmendi Munkás HE was in the lead, while Répcelaki Városi Bányász HE and Spartacus HE I. followed closely behind.
In the individual competition on the opening day, Dániel Sipos (Vasvári Petőfi HE) proved to be the most successful, with a catch of 37,380 grams . The total catch on Saturday was 489,120 grams , which also shows how difficult the competition was on the course.
By Sunday, the competition became even more intense , and the catch results improved: 714,290 grams of fish were weighed .
Final result – Team Championship
1st place: Spartacus HE I. – 196,420 g / 27 points
The champion team, with a balanced performance, advanced from Saturday's bronze medal position, to win Sunday's round and thus the overall competition.
Tibor Pajtli's outstanding catch of 51,470 grams earned him sector one, which was a decisive factor in the victory. Attila Borsos (49,530 g) and Attila Vámos (47,020 g) also delivered stable performances, over 20 kg per round.
We heartily congratulate the Spartacus HE I. team! This victory is not just the result of a weekend's performance, but the fruit of many years of conscious preparation, perseverance and togetherness. The example of a friendly, well-established team clearly shows that many hours spent together on the waterfront ultimately bring the success they deserve.
2nd place: Electricians SHE I. – 190,760 g / 29 points
The multiple defending champion was in the fight for the gold medal throughout, but ultimately fell 2 points short of victory.
Zoltán Török brought the team three placings with an outstanding performance of 66,270 grams . Gábor Hajba's first place in the Sunday sector and Gábor Tordai's second place on Saturday were also key in winning the silver medal.
3rd place: Körmendi Munkás HE – 161,670 g / 32 points
György Unger (44,370 g) was the most successful member of the team, while Balázs Nagy Hevesi's first place in Saturday's sector ( 27,330 g ) was also an outstanding performance.
Individual Championship – The title was a close call
This year's individual championship brought a particularly memorable result: at the end of the two rounds , only 10 grams decided the fate of first place . The varied course tested the anglers with carp, grass carp, and dwarf catfish. The final showdown proved that often only one smaller fish is missing for the final victory.

Youth Championship – Máthé Zalán won again
Parallel to the adult competition, the Vas County Individual Youth Championship also took place on Saturday, where young anglers could show off their skills.
The competition was won by Zalán Máthé (Elektromosok SHE) with a catch of 22,320 grams , thus defending his title from last year. Milán Gersei (Körmendi Munkás HE) finished in second place with 7,550 grams, while László Czékus (Gersekarát Sárvíz-tavi HE) came in third with 5,990 grams.
Summary
A total of 1,203,410 grams of fish were weighed during the two-day championship, which reflects the strength of the field and the intensity of the competition.
The anglers and teams set an example of sportsmanship, perseverance and community spirit , proving once again that sport fishing still has a vibrant and strong tradition in Vas County.
