Our fishermen and fish keepers have worked for the waters again.
With the arrival of the cold weather in January, our professional fish guards and their enthusiastic helpers continued to maintain the shores of the fishing waters, which includes fishing, removing broken, broken, or dangerous tree branches that interfere with access to the water's edge or parking, maintaining reed patches near fishing spots, and inspecting benches and other outdoor equipment and assessing their condition before early spring maintenance. The unusually cold days allowed the immediate shoreline vegetation to be managed from the ice, which our fish guards tried to take advantage of.
The cold weather did not dampen the spirits of our employees and volunteer helpers, so they “tidyed up” the Újperinti I. sz. mine lake, the Merseváti lake, the Celldömölk Téglagyári-lake and Park-lake, the Gencsapáti Horgásztav, the Pinkamindszenti lake, the Magyarszecsőd gravel mine lake, the Csánigi lake, the Püspökmolnári lake, as well as the Vasvári Csónakázó-lake and the Döröskei reservoir and the Kerka-lake in Kerkaszentkirály, and according to our plans, the winter maintenance is expected to be completely completed during February.

In addition to improving fishing conditions, the purpose of winter maintenance is to prepare for spring mowing and grass cutting, and to remove branches, stumps, and shoots that interfere with the line scythe. In addition, our fish keepers tried to improve water quality and the chances of overwintering for the wintering fish stock by cutting holes in stagnant waters without flow (and marking them).
We would like to thank all our volunteers for their work, which once again made it possible for anglers and families visiting our fishing lakes to find organized waterfront conditions in the spring.
