Our Association has become a tourism dual training center
We are pleased to inform our fellow anglers and partners that the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations has successfully obtained the necessary permits and has officially operated as a tourism dual training center in the secondary vocational education system since April 7th.
Our goal is to provide students with professional practice opportunities in the field of fishing tourism, as an active, experience-based tourism activity. Fishing tourism is an experience-based, active leisure tourism activity during which the angler, away from his place of residence, stays on the water or on the shore primarily for the purpose of catching fish, but which is closely linked to other recreational experiences (e.g. relaxation in nature, a health-conscious lifestyle, use of local services), thus satisfying tourist motivations in a complex way.
The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations is a member of the Vas County Tourism Association and is in contact with almost all regional tourism organizations interested in tourism in Vas County.
Our association's fishing tourism office in Vaskerestes recently underwent successful expert accreditation, during which experts from the Vas County Chamber of Commerce and Industry verified the existence of all the conditions necessary for the training.
We would like to express our gratitude to the Vas County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as to Associate Professor Dr. Zsuzsanna Ivancsóné Horváth, from the Department of Tourism, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Széchenyi István University, for their professional cooperation.
We would like to provide summer internships for students participating in the dual training program for tourism technicians at our association's customer service office in Vaskerestes. Young people can gain experience in:
- in customer service tasks
- in fishing tourism information services
- in organizing fishing programs and competitions
- editing and producing online and offline tourism PR content
- and they can also gain insight into other fishing tourism development projects.
Starting this summer, we are happy to welcome applications from secondary school students majoring in tourism who would like to learn about the beauties of tourism and fishing tourism at our Association.
