Lake Újperint I shows its renewed face in spring
We previously reported that waterfront maintenance work was underway at several points in the county. Over the past month, a huge amount of work has been done at Lake Újperinti I: clearing brush, landscaping, creating fishing spots, building stairs, planting grass, and installing a missing camp toilet.
Lake Újperinti I has long been a popular fishing spot, and we have been waiting for the lake area to be rehabilitated for nearly ten years. Now we have decided not to wait any longer and, to the best of our ability, we will repair the crumbling, eroded banks and remove dangerously dry trees. Using our own resources, our goal was to create as many and better fishing spots as possible, so that the fishing areas would not decrease despite the regular fencing of neighboring plots. Our colleagues and partners have worked hard – and will continue to work in the future – to ensure that the lake remains one of the favorite spots for anglers.

It's a great feeling to see what beautiful things we can achieve by working together as a community! In addition to the continuous fishing, we will continue the work on the Vásárlón waters, depending on our financial and time possibilities. We plan to install new benches at the Új-perinti Lake during the summer.
We would like to remind all fellow anglers not to venture into the areas affected by the wet waterfront work, and to be careful!
