Several fishing competitions will be held throughout the county in June. During the events, there will be full or partial fishing bans for anglers who have not registered for the competition. Please always check the current restrictions before you go fishing. In addition to our website, we will also publish the bans on our Facebook page and, if possible, on the lakeside notice boards.

The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations has ordered a fishing ban at the following locations and times in June :

On June 7, 2026, between 6:30 AM and 3:30 PM, in order to ensure the smooth running of the Charity Fishing Competition, a fishing ban will be in effect on the Döröskei Reservoir for anglers who have not registered for the competition.

On June 10, 2026 (Sunday), from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., there will be a general fishing ban on the Magyarszecsőd side of the lake, up to the peninsula in the middle of the lake, due to a canoe competition.

On June 13, 2026, between 6:30 AM and 3:00 PM, in order to ensure the smooth running of the Ferenc Horváth and Ferenc Strasszer Memorial Competition, a fishing ban will be in effect on the Magyarszecsőd Gravel Mine Lake for anglers who have not registered for the competition.

Between June 8–14, 2026, in order to ensure the smooth running of the training days and competition of the 2nd semi-final of the XI. Method Feeder OB, a fishing ban will be in effect in the entire area of Lake Abért II in Lukácsháza for anglers not registered for the competition.

On June 16, 2026, between 8:00 and 14:00, a fishing ban will be in effect in the area of the Vaskeresztes Alpine Fishing Lake in order to ensure the smooth conduct of the on-site finals of the XXI Vasi Vizesek Primary School Competition.

On June 20, 2026, between 6:00 and 14:00, in order to ensure the smooth running of the Répcementi HE association competition, a fishing ban will be in effect on the Csepreg Téglagyári Lake for anglers who have not registered for the competition.

On June 21-22, 2026, between 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., in order to ensure the smooth running of the Vasi Vizeken–Garbolino–TackleBait Abért-tó Cup competition days, a fishing ban will be in effect on the Lukácsháza settlement and Gyöngyös stream side of Abért II Lake for anglers not registered for the competition.

On June 27, 2026, between 6:30 and 16:00, in order to ensure the smooth running of the Feeder Adventures Rakósbotos Carp Fishing Cup, a fishing ban will be in effect on the Lukácsháza settlement side of Lake Abért II and the Gyöngyös stream for anglers who have not registered for the competition.

On June 27, 2026, between 6:00 and 15:00, in order to ensure the smooth running of the Pairs Dwarf Catfish Catching Competition, a fishing ban will be in effect on Lake Újperinti I for anglers who have not registered for the competition.

On June 28, 2026, between 6:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., in order to ensure the smooth running of the County Youth Fishing Competition, a fishing ban will be in effect on Lake Répcelaki for anglers who have not registered for the competition.
