Information about the November schedule of the Alpine Lake

We would like to inform fellow anglers that the planned winter trout stocking in the Alpine Lake has not yet taken place, therefore, between November 1 and November 25, 2026, peaceful fish fishing is temporarily still permitted in certain parts of the Vaskeresztes Alpine Lake (C&R).

The following rules apply during the transition period:

On the road side of the lake, as well as in the section in front of the disabled fishing pier, peaceful fish fishing is permitted according to the rules of the valid fishing regulations for the period between March 1 and October 31, using traditional methods, with 1 rod and a maximum of 1 single-barred hook.

Fishing is not recommended in the branch of the lake separated by a net, towards the Alpesi Fogadó, as the peaceful fish in this area have already been pre-fished.

The catch and release (C&R) rule continues to apply throughout the lake: caught fish - with the exception of dwarf catfish - must be immediately and gently released back into the water.

From November 26, 2026 - unless otherwise stated - according to the rules of the valid fishing regulations for the winter period, only spinning and fly fishing with artificial bait equipped with 1 rod and a barbless hook is permitted. The use of any kind of artificial bait made of rubber is prohibited.

When fishing with artificial bait, knotless or rubberized nets are mandatory. The fish caught should be freed from the hook, if possible, without touching it by hand, using pliers or vein tweezers, and then released back into the water as soon as possible.
