It is with deep sorrow and sympathy that we announce that Dr. István Dérer (1969–2025), Vice President of the Hungarian National Anglers' Association and Director General of the National Anglers' Association Service Center, has passed away with dignity after a long illness.
The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations will remain eternally grateful to Dr. István Dérer for the helpful and supportive attitude with which he supported all of our fishing development initiatives.
His superhuman work, professional humility and humanity in the interests of the waters, fish and anglers left a lasting mark on us and the entire Hungarian fishing community.
We will keep your memory alive. Rest in peace, István!
