60 extra-large carp were found in the Döröskei Reservoir
In addition to the 2000 kg of extra carp that arrived in our county on Friday with the support of the MOHOSZ tender, large carp also arrived in the Döröske reservoir at the request and financing of our Association. The 60 beautiful carp of the Balaton sudar type, weighing a total of 439 kg, were loaded at the Irmapuszta site of the Balatoni Halgazdálósi Nonprofit ZRT, which found a new home in the Döröske reservoir early Wednesday afternoon.
The establishment of the healthy stock, with an average weight of over 7 kg, but with some individuals exceeding 9-10 kg, was carried out by professional fish keepers Károly Sipos and Balázs Szekeres.
No ban was imposed following the planned installations, so our anglers can indulge in their passion immediately after installation, however, please note that the installed large carps serve exclusively to develop the carp population in the water areas and provide fishing experiences.
We strongly urge fellow T. anglers to comply with the lower and upper (max. 60 cm) size restrictions set out in the law and the fishing regulations!
The extra carp that have been planted must be returned to the water as gently as possible after the photo has been taken after the catch! Violation of the upper size limit, keeping the fish will result in official action, and transporting the extra-sized carp alive will result in a police report!
As the next fishing season approaches, we are pleased to highlight that neither MOHOSZ nor the Vasi Szövetség will increase state, membership, or regional ticket prices for 2026. The price of fishing tickets will thus remain unchanged in a way that is friendly to anglers, and any changes can only be made by the local fishing associations' own membership fees. The decision remains based on the Association's stable and responsible management.

From January, personal administration (e.g. ticket exchange, fishing card application, etc.) will be possible at the Association's customer service office in Vaskeresztő by prior appointment. Appointments can be requested by phone at +36 94-506-835; +36 70 3399 703, or by e-mail at info@vasivizeken.hu. After that, colleagues will continue to be at the disposal of fellow anglers in 2025 according to the following customer service order:

✅ Thursday: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM;
