30 years of collaboration and fishing friendship in Pölöské

The leaders of our association were also happy to participate in the 30th anniversary celebration of the Pölösk Fishermen's Association on August 1st, which was worthy of this beautiful anniversary in every respect. The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations was represented at the festive event by Norbert Puskás, executive president, and Miklós Seregi. Norbert Puskás - also the president of the Hungarian National Fishermen's Association - presented the association with a commemorative plaque on behalf of the MOHOSZ, while Miklós Seregi presented the Association's recognition to the 30-year-old community.

Every moment of the entire event was extremely human, direct and in a good mood. All our appreciation goes to the organizers: they held not just an anniversary event, but a real, heart-and-soul-organized 30th birthday, which is a worthy conclusion to the past three decades and at the same time creates a solid foundation for the next thirty years.

It was a special pleasure that the decades of dedicated work of the founding members of the association were also duly recognized at the ceremony. László Molnár, the president of the association, also highlighted cohesion as the most important strength of the community.
In recent years, not only has the condition of the lake and its surroundings improved significantly, but the association has also gained a stable economic foundation. All of this is the result of a lot of volunteer work, local cooperation, and the perseverance of the membership.

It's gratifying that they are already thinking about future generations: in addition to further lakeside developments, they are also planning to organize children's fishing camps.
After all, fishing is not only about catching fish, but also teaches patience, perseverance, discipline, respect for nature and each other, values that are worth passing on to the next generation.

The anniversary day was completed by a fishing competition, a fish-hooking competition, and cultural and musical programs. The hundreds of participants clearly demonstrated that there is a truly vibrant and cohesive fishing community in Pölösk.
