2025. May bans

Fishing competitions will be held several times throughout the county in May. During the events, there will be full or partial fishing bans for anglers who have not registered for the competition. Please always check the current restrictions before you go fishing. In addition to our website, we will also publish the bans on our Facebook page and, if possible, on the lakeside notice boards.

The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations has ordered a fishing ban at the following locations and times in May:

• On May 1, 2025 (Thursday), from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect on Lake Kéthatár in Kerkafalvi due to the fishing competition.

• On May 1, 2025 (Thursday), from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect on the Téglagyári Lake in Celldömölk due to an association fishing competition.

• On May 3, 2025 (Saturday), from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect on Lake Pinkamindszenti due to the fishing competition.

• From 6:00 a.m. on May 5, 2025 (Monday) until 4:00 p.m. on the Lukácsháza side of Lake Abért II, there will be a general ban on anglers not registered for the competition due to the semi-final of the IV. Rakós Botos Carp Catching OB.

• On May 18, 2025 (Sunday), from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect at the Máriaújfalu Reservoir due to an association fishing competition.​​

• On May 17 and May 18, 2025 (Saturday and Sunday) from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect at the Döröske Reservoir due to a fishing competition.​​

• On May 25, 2025 (Sunday), from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect on the Lukácsháza settlement and Gyöngyös stream side of Lake Abért II due to a private fishing competition.

• On May 25, 2025 (Sunday), from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect on the Téglagyári Lake in Celldömölk due to a children's fishing competition.

• On May 25, 2025 (Sunday), from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect on Lake Rábasömjén due to the children's fishing competition.​​

• On May 25, 2025 (Sunday), from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect on Lake Újperinti I due to a fishing competition.

• On May 31, 2025 (Saturday), from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., a general fishing ban will be in effect on Lake Kéthatár in Kerkafalvi due to the association fishing competition.
