The 10 young anglers who registered on the website for the Youth Angler Competition held on June 13, 2020 arrived on time for the morning registration. In the bright sunshine, the opening and technical meeting was followed by a draw. Fishing spots were done by pulling out numbers written on chocolate. First, by solving theoretical test sheets and as a DIY task, a tip stick assembly was made for the given water. At 9:45 a.m., the fish catch began, which was 3 hours. In the sultry heat, the fish weren't exactly in the mood, but they still managed to catch carp, grass carp, bream, and crucian carp. Not surprisingly, the pike was caught on one of the young hooks, which he managed to steer. After weighing and packing, the finish was thrown from 10 and 15 meters respectively. This is how the final result came from the multi-part battle. We rewarded our only lady competitor, Sara Szélesi, with a special prize who finished 4th with a great catch. The children could receive the high-value rods received from MOHOSZ, as well as the goblets and medals received from the Vas County Association of Sporthorgász Association. The winners can fully represent the young fishermen of Vas County at the national Fishing Competition in Orfű, for which we wish them much success.
