On April 18–19, 2026, the Alpesi Horgásztó in Vaskerestes hosted the first two rounds of the VI. Trout Area Spinning National Championship, which was organized as part of the MOHOSZ–OTP Bank Hungarian Championships series. During the two-day competition, 31 competitors from the top of the Hungarian trout area discipline competed in excellent conditions, in a sporty and exciting competition. Before the competition and during the two competition days, several stages of stocking were carried out, occasionally bringing 80–80 kg rainbow trout to the lake, ensuring the best possible chances of catching them.
