On Thursday, May 3, 2021, the Vas County Association of Sport Angling Associations repeated the establishment of last year's pre-bred roach on the Rába River. The survival of intensely farmed goat specimens can be said to be good from experience, despite the many dangers lurking for the new inhabitants of the river, such as the presence of fish-eating cormorants and catfish. Due to the decrease in the number of individuals of the species, although it is not under nature protection, the fish protection legislation removed it from the list of catchable species from 2014, currently the so-called endangered species of Community importance, which means that specimens in excess of 50 cm may be caught only in certain numbers with the permission of an official permit, and only in water areas where it has a stable stock or is regularly planted by a person authorized to fish. The heron, despite being a freshwater species, has a characteristic tendency to migrate to sturgeons, so they can travel long distances as they roam, depending on the permeability of riverbeds and dams. Here, too, we come to the most important problem of the reproduction of most sturgeon species, namely the obstruction of migration from the seas to freshwater by dams and power plants, which has resulted in a drastic reduction in the number of migratory sturgeon species. Fortunately, the dammed sections of the Rába River can already be crossed with the help of fish ladders, so this problem should not hinder the migration of vultures. Instead of scales, the so-called a characteristic species of fish covered with blood was never common in the Rába, but, according to older anglers, it delighted the persistent river pecans as occasional prey even in the 1980s. The installed vultures were placed on the section of the Rába from Sárvár to Alsószölnök. We ask T.
