This year's large summer carp stocking program of the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations has been completed. The fish stocking programs planned for mid-June were almost entirely implemented according to the preliminary schedule, so the waters under federal management were enriched with a significant amount of catchable three-year-old carp by the start of the summer fishing season. As part of the stocking program, a total of 9,200 kilograms of carp were placed in the federal waters. The fish arrived from the Csertő site of Tógazda Halászati Zrt. and reached the designated fishing waters according to the predetermined schedule. As the first stop of the program, on June 10, the Szombathely Boating Lake was enriched with 600 kilograms, while the Szombathely Fishing Lake was enriched with 300 kilograms of three-year-old carp. On June 17, the Rába and Ikervár artificial canals received 400 kilograms of carp, the Rábasömjén Lake received 400 kilograms, the Csánigi Mine Lake received 500 kilograms, the Merseváti Lake received 400 kilograms, and the Celldömölk Brick Factory and Park Lake received 500 kilograms of carp. On the closing day, June 18, Lake Hársas and Lake Magyarszecsődi both gained 1,000 kilograms each, Lake Vasvár 500 kilograms, Lake Püspökmolnár 500 kilograms, Lake Újperinti 500 kilograms, Lake Szombathelyi Csónakázó another 600 kilograms, Lake Szombathelyi Horgásztó another 400 kilograms, Lake Gencsapáti–Perenyei 400 kilograms, Lake Csepregi 300 kilograms, Lake Kerkaszentkirály 300 kilograms, Lake Vadása 300 kilograms, and Lake Kéthátar 300 kilograms. The installation of the Döröskei reservoir was completed one day later than originally planned, but a slightly larger amount of fish arrived in the water area than planned. Instead of the planned 600 kilograms, 639 kilograms of carp were eventually released.
