On July 29, 2023, a children's fishing competition was organized by the Körmendi Working Fishing Association. Due to the features of the small lake, this time it was possible for 20 children to get to know this wonderful leisure sports activity. The winners of the competition: 6-8 year old age group: 1st place Márk Horváth 400 grams 2nd place Zsolt Bálint 220 grams 3rd place Master Dorina 200 grams 8-10 year old age group: 1st place Olivér Vajda 250 grams 2nd place Simon Dávid 180 grams grams 3rd Place Natasa Varga 160 grams The prizes, along with the certificates, were presented by István Bebes, Mayor of Körmend City, and Miklós Seregi, President of the Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations.
