14,000 balinese fish seedlings arrived in the Rába River. On Monday, the new inhabitants of the Rába River were packed in double plastic bags inflated with oxygen at the Mikei site of the Somogy-based Bérhalász KFT. The pre-reared, 4-5 cm balinese fish were planted by professional fish keeper Tamás Karácsonyi and fish management team leader József Mesterházy in several dammed and calmer sections of the Rába River, locally in Alsószölnök, Szentgotthárd, Magyarlak, Körmend, Molnaszecsőd, Ikervár, the Herpenyő Gorge in Sótony and Nick.
