On Saturday, the Répcelak City Mining Association and the Vassurányi Sport Fishing Association held an invitational children's fishing competition on Lake Répcelak for the second time. ✅ 👇The president of the Répcelak association, Attila Kádi, wrote a short report about the event, which we are now publishing: In order to cultivate the good friendship between the two associations, we plan to repeat the competition every year. Upon arrival in the morning, Attila Kádi greeted the young anglers and their companions, then spoke about the development of the lake and the fish stocks that can be caught. 🗺 Out of the planned number of 8 people, 15 young people showed up, then after the draw, the preparation began, and the four-hour competition began at 8:00 a.m. The children started fishing quite well, several large carp and grass carp were caught, but they also caught bream and crucian carp. 🐠 Meanwhile, our association's economic manager, Erika Kovács, made sandwiches for those present, and we served everyone with refreshing cold drinks. 🍹In order to protect the larger fish and grass carp, we carried out weighings several times with Zoltán Töreki, who helped with the program all day. 🤝 📋 This day was also spent in a good mood, the competition ended at 12.00 and the long-awaited weighing followed, which brought the following results: 1st Place: Buthi Benjamin - 41560 g - Répcelaki HE 2nd Place: Szekér Soma - 16950 g - Vassurányi HE 3rd Place: Piskor Regina - 13000 g - Vassurányi HE The 15 young people finally caught a total of 116.620 g of fish. 👏 🐳The special prize for the largest fish caught was earned by Szekér Soma, with a 5250 gram carp. Thank you to Vassurányi HE, Kleé Roland, Firisz Tamás, Egyed Krisztina for the support, and to Desszertfészek - Cake and Cake Workshop for the cakes! Thank you again to everyone who contributed so that the children could spend a super good day together on the waterfront today. 👏
