The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations successfully applied during the fall for the title "development of carp stock in fishing waters" under the "Stock Replacement and Development Targeting Plan" of the Hungarian National Fishing Association. Thanks to the tender, MOHOSZ provided HUF 1,425,000 in support in addition to a net federal contribution of HUF 2,325,000. With the help of the support, on the evening of November 22, 2023, 1,500 kg of carp between 6-9 kg in excellent condition arrived from the MOHOSZ lake unit in Kecsker near Karcag. The extra-sized carp were placed in the following water areas: - Szombathely Boating Lake: 500 kg - Magyarszecsődi Lake: 500 kg - Szentgotthárd Hársas Lake: 500 kg
