Competition details

The Vas County Association of Sport Fishing Associations and the Vas County ÉFOÉSZ Association are once again organizing a friendly joint fishing afternoon called Integrated Fishing Day for sport anglers and people with disabilities.

There is no participation fee! Participation in the program requires prior registration!

Entries can be submitted by calling 06/94-506-835 or online at https://vasivizeken.hu/hu/esemenyek/versenyidopontok . Only fellow anglers can submit applications on the entry form, people with disabilities must register with ÉFEOSZ.

Application deadline: 2025.10.02. (Thursday), 12:00 noon.

Program:

The friendly “competition” will be held in a 2-hour round.

13.30 Registration

13.45 Opening, draw (The pair team and the fishing spot will be formed by random draw. One main sport angler and one main person with a disability who is getting to know fishing.)

14. 00 - 14.15 Lecture on basic fishing skills (Distribution of unit equipment)

14.15 - 14.30 Seating, preparation time

14.30 - 16.30 Fishing

16.30 - 17.00 Reflection

17.00 Announcement of results.

Rules:

• Disabled members of pairs may only participate in the competition with at least 1 helper (e.g. parent).
• Pairs are only allowed to fish with 2 tip rods provided by the Fishing Association. We provide 4 rigs for each pair. (So there is 1 spare rig per rod) Each team can bring spare rigs and accessories at their own discretion. (Eg.: hook, lead, float, etc.)
• We provide bait and bait for each team (A maximum of 1 kg of bait can be used. Bait can be anything that can be used to catch carp, bream and crucian carp.)
• The fish are judged by weight, for which each pair is provided with 1 ring net, but spare rings can be brought. The winning pair of the fishing competition will be the one who catches the most fish.

• The couple is obliged to collect and remove waste at their fishing spot.
