On May 25th, the Rábapaty and Vidéke HE organized the now traditional Children's Day fishing competition. This year's competition can be called a bit of a departure from the norm, because some of the students from Tamás Farkas' school from Szombathely also joined in. After registering, 19 children started the competition in 3 age groups (preschool, lower secondary, upper secondary). This year there was not a particularly large catch, but the total catch was over 33 kg. After the horn signaled the end of the competition, an excited team set off after the weigh-ins. The catch was 90% silver crucian carp, with a few breams, 1 perch and of course the dwarf catfish was also present. After the measurement was completed, the kindergarten age group was as follows: 1. Mia Dugovics (680 g) 2. Natali Varga (160 g) 3. Dóra Mészáros (140 g) Lower age group: 1. Luca Bertha (6680 g) 2. Dorián Radanovics (3360 g) 3. Bence Szolga (3060 g) Upper age group: 1. Barnabás Molnár (5200 g) 2. Emma Szolga (3480 g) 3. Olivér Németh (1640 g)
